During the night, I tought that the wind would decrease. Eventually, morning was completly different! When i woke up, the wind was really strong and coming from the north. I was in the west direction and the wind pushed me on the road.

I learned a little while after that the wind was in fact blowing at more than 100 km/h!!

So, I decided to stay in my tent and to wait. Then, Brian in his car, stopped and invited me for a lunch with his friend Jack! It was really friendly and we had a good time together with a really good lasagna (homemade by a woman from Italy ;-)

The day after, i’ve decided to go forward even if the wind was still strong. I did 83 km in 9 hours! During the evening, when the wind decreased, it was clear for me : GO!!!

Finally, i did 60 km in 4 hours in the evening and arrived at the border with a new province, Alberta.

For your information, just after realizing this video, i’ve better adjusted the fixation of my tent…

Pour info, après avoir tourné la vidéo, j’ai fixé de nouveau mes piquets et la tente bougeait tout de même moins!

Durant la nuit, le vent était particulièrement fort, je pensais que le matin venu, il aurait diminué. Finalement, tout le contraire! Quand je me suis levé, le vent était vraiment fort. J’ai par la suite appris qu’il était à plus de 100 km/h!!

J’ai alors décidé de rester dans ma tente et d’attendre. Vers 12h, Brian s’est arrêté avec sa voiture pour me proposer de venir manger avec lui et son ami Jack. Tout les deux fermiers, nous avons bien eu du plaisir à discuter ensemble et à déguster une succulente lasagne (faite maison par une Italienne, rien de moins ;-)

Le jour d’après, même si le vent demeurait encore fort, j’ai pris la route pour faire seulement 83 km en 9 heures! Puis en soirée, quand le vent a enfin diminué, c’était très clair pour moi, JE CONTINUE!

Cela m’a pris 4 h en soirée pour faire 60 km et rejoindre ma neuvième province: l’Alberta!
